The Senior Executive P2P will be responsible for managing end-to-end procure-to-pay activities, including vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, invoice management, payments, and reconciliations. The role requires strong process knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end P2P process, from purchase requisition to vendor payment.
  • Review and process purchase orders (POs), non-PO invoices, and credit notes in accordance with company policy.
  • Validate invoice accuracy, including price, quantity, tax, and PO matching (2-way/3-way).
  • Coordinate with procurement, finance, and business teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Handle vendor queries related to payments and invoices, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Prepare and review payment runs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
  • Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assist in process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data and documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of P2P cycle, accounts payable, and invoice processing.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba).
  • Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance related to payments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in P2P / Accounts Payable operations.
  • Exposure to shared services or multinational environments preferred.
