Job Description:
Job Summary :
The prime responsibility of a process trainer is to ensure that learning and development needs of the team assigned to are addressed and administered to. Interaction with clients and employees at all levels in a cross cultural and dynamic work environment is required, thus a trainer needs to be knowledgeable, trustworthy and an expert, at not only his/her area of specialization but also possess communication skills, patience and analytical skills, among others.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
The following are key knowledge areas required for a training executive:
1. Expert knowledge and expertise of the mortgage domain with experience in Origination UW life cycle
2. Knowledge of Origination/Servicing documents
3. Knowledge of training modes and methods
4. Knowledge of program construction and development
5. Knowledge of relevant mortgage business line
6. Knowledge of Business, Policies and Practices
7. Computer Skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio
The following are key Skill and Ability areas required for a training executive:
1. Leadership Skills – Lead a team of individuals to effectively organize Training and measure Training effectiveness
2. Mentoring Skills – Create a supportive environment for two way communication, provide constructive feedback and advice
3. Written Communication Skills - Email Etiquette/ Program Construction/ Issue Resolution/Communication of Objectives, Decisions
4. Verbal Communication Skills - Delivery of Process, Development Training, Conduct Effective Meetings, Engage with staff at all Levels
5. Interpersonal Skills – Liaising and working effectively with various people at various levels
6. Presentation Skills – Structure and Deliver Training using various Training aids, structure and design presentations based on Training needs, Prepare high level Training reports
7. Ethics and Code: to be able to determine ethical and moral implications, actions of a situation, stringently follow them and ensure that teams assigned also adhere to
8. Ability to learn and consistently improve on performance
9. Ability to delegate – Identifying skills and strengths of SME's and assigning tasks to maximize output
10. People Management Skills: to be able to handle various types of people effectively while achieving all set goals of task, project, process or client
11. Conflict resolution: to be able to effectively resolve conflict
12. Patience, Eye for Detail and high standards of excellence and achievement
13. Analytical skills: To be able to identify problems, understand basic analysis methods, analyze data independently, report out findings
14. Evaluate and measure training activities, effectiveness and publish reports periodically
15. Ability to make decisions independently

17. Ability to perform a Training Needs Analysis/Gap Analysis
18. Ability to Access Organizational and Department Needs

Responsibilities :
The following are general responsibilities of training executive:
1. To ensure that all employees from the process assigned to are provided with knowledge of Mortgage business practices, policies and procedures
2. To design, create and deliver job specific training to all new employees
3. To work with Subject Matter Experts to consistently improve new employee training material and procedures
4. To monitor employee productivity and quality, and provide training when required
5. To regularly plan and hold coaching and feedback sessions with employees
6. To design, create and deliver development training programs
7. To evaluate and measure training activities, effectiveness and publish reports periodically
8. To participate/ spearhead projects- process, Business and Human Resources related
9. To ensure the meeting of/ facilitate learning and development requirements for assigned teams
10. To coordinate/ facilitate disciplinary action effectively as required
11. To get effectively cross trained on various areas of the industry and become competent, as required by team and department strategy
12. To effectively transition functions between locations as required by the ISGN KPO & IT business strategy
13. To effectively communicate with internal and external clients and manage related challenges and conflict
Education Qualifications:
1. HSC Mandatory
2. Any graduation
