Assistant Manager Procurement

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives2. Manage the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to contract negotiation and vendor management3. Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions4. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve optimal terms, pricing, and quality5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities meet business needs6. Implement and maintain a supplier evaluation and performance management system7. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through strategic sourcing and supplier diversification8. Oversee the procurement team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members9. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities10. Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement processes in the procurement function11. Manage procurement budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs)12. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain managementQualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred2. 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management3. Proven track record of successfully implementing procurement strategies and achieving cost savings4. Strong negotiation and contract management skills5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities6. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems7. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in procurement8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills9. Leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams10.
