Role Overview:

The Sales Executive will play a key role in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities by sourcing leads from various channels. The successful candidate will engage with key decision-makers, understand their business needs, and present Citrus Freight's products as solutions to enhance their operations. This position focuses on business development and sales, contributing to the company's growth strategy and expansion of its client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell freight and logistics services to prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads through effective cold calling and lead generation.
  • Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas as set by management.
  • Proactively address customer issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to ensure continued business growth.
  • Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to foster relationships and drive business growth, as and when required.
  • Assist various departments as required to support business needs.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Regularly report on sales progress, forecast targets, and client feedback to management.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, client feedback, and other necessary documentation.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven success in sales with a strong ability to develop new business and nurture existing relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of export logistics and a strong understanding of the NVOCC role.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong closing skills and assertiveness in sales.
  • Experience working with CRM systems to manage and track sales activities.
  • Knowledge of sea freight operations is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • MBA also preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
