As a Business Success Manager at this company, you'll be working at the intersection of client business outcomes and the company's service delivery, ensuring clients achieve the value promised by our research, advisory, or wealth-management services.
Position Overview:
As the Business Success Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients not only adopt our solutions and services but also achieve measurable business results from them. You will drive client satisfaction, retention, growth and advocacy by aligning our offerings with our clients' strategic business goals, working cross-functionally to deliver excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key client contacts to deeply understand their business objectives, challenges, and success metrics.
- Create and execute client success plans that map our service offerings (research, advisory, wealth-management, etc) to the client's business outcomes.
- Monitor client usage/adoption of our services, identify risks (e.g., under-utilisation), and proactively engage clients to maximise value.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities by understanding evolving client needs and advocating internally for solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams (research, operations, product/ service delivery, marketing) to ensure client issues are resolved, services are delivered on-time and in line with client expectations.
- Lead periodic business reviews with clients: present performance metrics, review outcomes against objectives, propose next steps and enhancements.
- Serve as the voice of the client internally—gather client feedback, identify trends in client needs/market, and communicate to help shape product/service roadmap.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports tracking client health metrics (e.g., adoption, satisfaction, renewal, churn, business outcome achievement).
- Educate clients on best practices, service usage, market trends and provide guidance to help them maximise the value our firm delivers.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- 3-6 years experience in customer success, client management, account management, or business development—preferably in financial services, advisory, wealth management, or research services.
- Strong business acumen: ability to understand client business models, financial outcomes and to tie service impact to client's strategic goals.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written), presentation and interpersonal skills—able to engage C-level / senior stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset—comfortable with metrics, dashboards, analysing client usage/adoption, and deriving insights.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts/projects simultaneously with strong prioritisation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or client success platforms. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; experience with analytics/dashboarding is a plus.
- Client-centric mindset, proactive problem-solver, collaborative and able to work across functions.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the wealth management, research advisory, investment services, or financial-services domain.
- Understanding of investment products, client portfolios, financial metrics or business outcomes in the investment/wallet-management space.
- Experience using tools like Salesforce, Gainsight or other customer success platforms.
- Demonstrated track record of growing client accounts (upsell/cross-sell) and improving retention/renewal metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including internal cross-team coordination to deliver client value.

- Client retention rate / renewal rate.
- Client satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) where applicable.
- Growth in client account value (upsell/cross-sell) or average revenue per client.
- Achievement of client business outcome metrics (as defined in client success plans).
- Adoption and usage rates of our service offerings by clients.
- Number of business reviews held and improvement actions implemented.
