Job Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Engineer with hands-on experience in Mivan Shuttering to join our dynamic real estate team. The Billing Engineer will play a key role in managing all billing and cost estimation activities, ensuring accurate documentation of work completed in Mivan Shuttering projects, and coordinating with project management to ensure timely and accurate billing of construction work.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing & Cost Management:
Prepare detailed billing schedules and measurement sheets based on work progress.
Maintain an accurate record of materials used, labor costs, and construction activities.
Ensure timely submission of bills and payment requests to clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with contracts.
Mivan Shuttering Expertise:
Manage and supervise the Mivan Shuttering construction process, ensuring correct billing based on quantity, quality, and work progress.
Perform quantity take-offs for Mivan Shuttering and related structural activities (like casting, formwork, and other concrete processes).
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to gather data for billing.
Regularly report to the senior project manager on billing progress, discrepancies, and required adjustments.
Communicate with clients and subcontractors to address billing-related concerns or discrepancies.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all bills, invoices, and contractual documents comply with company policies and legal standards.
Maintain a detailed record of site measurements, materials, and work completion percentages.
Assist in the preparation of reconciliation reports and final accounts for completed projects.
Monitoring Project Costs:
Track budget performance and report cost variances.
Assist in preparing cost estimates for upcoming projects or ongoing work.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a Billing Engineer or Quantity Surveyor, with specific expertise in Mivan Shuttering and High-rise construction projects.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
Mivan Shuttering Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Mivan Shuttering systems, formwork construction, and related cost estimation.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in measurements, calculations, and documentation.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for liaising with project managers, contractors, and clients.
Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies in project billing and costing.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of construction contracts and cost estimation methodologies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Work Environment:
Primarily based at the construction site, with frequent visits to the office for documentation and reporting.
Occasional travel to different project sites may be required.
