Sales Manager Yarns
The Sales Manager Yarns will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and ensuring revenue growth in domestic and/or international yarn markets. The role requires strong industry knowledge, customer relationship management skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for yarns (cotton, polyester, viscose, blended, etc.).
- Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base in domestic and export markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and agents.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to align product offerings.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to management.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, credit controls, and ethical sales practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Textile Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 3-4 years of proven sales experience in the textile/yarn industry (spinning, weaving, knitting sector preferred).
- Strong knowledge of different yarn types, applications, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively (domestic & international).
