The Sales Manager job description: handling the sales process and managing the sales team to increase revenue of Restaurant. The main duty of a Sales Manager is to identify and attract potential customers for catering service. Work towards achieving set targets and business goals by creating and implementing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with clients.

Should collaborate with other departments in the business such as marketing, operations, and event management to ensure all aspects of the sales process run smoothly. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field , and a Sales Manager should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue for the organization.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure coordinated efforts and successful outcomes.
  • Attend industry events and maintain knowledge of market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage budgets and expenses related to sales activities and initiatives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of sales team members and provide feedback and coaching for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities and seek out potential partnerships for the organization.
