Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers for shipping operations.
  • Prepare invoices, bills, and payment vouchers for domestic and international clients.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budget monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and shipping-specific financial rules.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in shipping, logistics, or freight industries.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
