Job Purpose:

To drive business growth for Indo Amines Limited by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in the
domestic chemical market
. The role focuses on promoting the company's chemical products, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales and revenue targets through strategic market engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit local customers regularly to strengthen business relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Promote and market
    Fine Chemicals, Home and Personal care chemicals, and Intermediates
    across India.
  • Achieve assigned
    domestic sales targets
    and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Suggest
    new products
    based on customer requirements and emerging market trends.
  • Handle and support
    existing customers
    , ensuring consistent satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Maintain strong
    product knowledge
    to effectively communicate technical and commercial details.
  • Obtain
    product specifications
    and technical requirements from customers.
  • Generate and follow up on
    new inquiries
    from target industries and regions.
  • Conduct
    frequent customer visits
    to expand market presence and engagement.
  • Perform
    joint tests or trials
    in customer laboratories and R&D facilities to demonstrate product performance.
  • Convert potential inquiries into confirmed
    sales orders
    through effective negotiation and follow-up.
  • Support and guide
    subordinates or junior team members
    in achieving higher business goals.
  • Recommend
    new product ideas or modifications
    in line with market demand and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Logistics, and Accounts) for smooth order execution and timely deliveries.
  • Prepare
    sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis
    for management review.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience:
    5+ years of experience in
    Business Development (Domestic Marketing)
    within the
    chemical industry
    .

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong technical understanding of chemical products and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel within India for business development.
