JOB DETAILS Responsible for successful coordination of simple/ complex multiple MEP projects across multiple locations including client interaction, conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documentation ad construction services. Fair knowledge and expertise in building services - HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Security & Surveillance Systems, and the Building Management system etc., Review of MEP drawings, details and specifications, and preparation of high-level cost estimation basis the drawings and specifications. Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific onsite construction and coordination issues. Manage and coordinate the designs of Architects, MEP, Structural or other specialized consultants, overseeing the development of contract documents, adhering to budgets, facilitating contracts, construction site representation till the project closeout. Manage and oversee the deliverables of the Supply chain OEM, Suppliers, and vendors. Prepare and review of detailed project schedule of the MEP deliverables, resourcing, baseline and tracking of the project from time to time and advise to the Project-In-Charge on the progress of the project and raise flags on any forecasted risk in the project timelines, costs,quality and H&S. Review Contractors shop drawings (coordination of services drawings) against the GFC/tender drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Project Director with appropriate comments for further action/ approvals for change. Attend Technical design workshops with Client/ specialized consultants/ OEM suppliers, Project meetings, Progress reviews etc., and ensure meeting outcomes are documented and actions implemented to suit the design intent of the project. Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or general projects to the Project Director. Advice on all issues regarding LEED and ensure that the appropriate documentation and information is provided to the appropriate authorities to obtain the LEED certifications required for the project. Conduct Site Inspection of the mechanical services works for Contractors adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultants specification, good working practices, and construction schedule. Prepare draft site/engineers instructions, relating to the building mechanical services, as required and issue to the Project Manager. Monitor and promote health and safety on the site. Record and report to the H&S lead/ Safety officer of any unsafe activities, advice for Positive interventions and raise incident reports for corrective actions. If required stop the construction works when unsafe practices are being continued. Mechanical services and final Testing & Commissioning works. Off-site inspections of any Capital equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary. Witness on-site preparatory and final Testing & Commissioning of mechanical services offered by the Contractor along with any appointed T&C agency, including piping pressure tests, AC duct leakage tests, Electrical Panel testing and other MEP services as required for the project and documented in the project plan. Review the T&C agency report and comment on the Contractors testing and commissioning results and advise the Project Manager accordingly. Maintain an ongoing list of mechanical services defects for the contractors remedial action. Undertake final project snagging and prepare a list of defects for the Contractors action. Coordinate with Project Manager in regard to any mechanical services related to variable costs that may be claimed by the Contractor during the course of the works.
