About the Opportunity

A position in the Digital Marketing & Technology sector focusing on search engine optimisation, content performance, and growth marketing for B2B and B2C web properties. This remote internship offers hands-on experience implementing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve rankings, and convert visitors into leads.

Location: Remote — India

Role & Responsibilities
  • Support keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-opportunity search terms and content gaps.
  • Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text, internal linking) to improve relevance and CTR.
  • Perform technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness) and help implement fixes with developers or CMS.
  • Monitor organic performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools; prepare weekly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with content creators to draft and optimize SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and product pages.
  • Assist with outreach and link-building initiatives; track backlinks and outreach outcomes in CRM or spreadsheets.
Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Practical understanding of core SEO concepts: on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Familiarity with at least one SEO tool (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Ubersuggest) for keyword & backlink analysis.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and comfortable working with WordPress or similar CMS.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail for content optimization and reporting.

Preferred

  • Previous internship or project experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content strategy.
  • Experience creating SEO reports in Excel/Google Sheets and using simple SQL or data connectors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of structured data/schema markup and fundamentals of JavaScript SEO.
