Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Head of Taxation

Experience Required: Minimum 15 years in Indirect Taxation, with at least 7 years of hands-on GST compliance experience in a listed or multinational company environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional to independently manage all aspects of GST compliance, invoicing, and indirect tax reporting for our group companies (including a
listed entity), which are part of a multinational group. The ideal candidate should have deep domain expertise, excellent understanding of business processes, and strong coordination
skills to manage both internal stakeholders and external authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance:

• Ensure end-to-end compliance with GST laws and regulations.

• Computation of Liability and Payment of GST Tax and Interest

• Timely preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, ITC-04, and other applicable returns.

• Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with input tax credit (ITC) and accounting records and followup with Suppliers as required.

• GSTR-6 ISD Return

• Monitor e-Invoicing and e-Way bill compliance.

• Regular review of GST output tax and ITC positions across states.

• New GST registrations and amendments as required from time to time.

• Manage GST audits, assessments, appeals and litigation.

• Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors on GST matters.

Customer Invoicing:

• Supervise generation of tax-compliant invoices to customers.

• Ensure correct tax classification and HSN/SAC coding in all invoices.

• Support sales and business teams on GST implications for new products/services and customer agreements.  Docusign Envelope ID: 09B197F7-EBDF-48DB-94FD-28E4767DA5FA Advisory & Internal Controls:

• Provide GST advisory for cross-border and inter-state transactions.

• Monitor changes in GST law and assess their business impact.

• Develop and strengthen internal processes and controls for GST compliance.

• Coordinate with IT/ERP team to ensure GST compliance through SAP or relevant ERP
system.

Stakeholder Management:

• Interface with GST consultants, tax advisors, external auditors, and GST authorities.

• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance teams for GST-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) or LLB with specialization in taxation preferred.

• Extensive experience in indirect taxation, especially GST, in large corporate setups.

• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP (mandatory).

• Good understanding of accounting standards and tax laws.
