Role Overview

The IT Associate will support the companys technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations. This includes providing technical support, managing hardware/software, maintaining network security, and assisting in system efficiency to keep departments productive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; escalate complex problems.
  • System & Device Management: Set up/configure devices; manage user accounts, permissions, and updates.
  • Network & Infrastructure: Monitor LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls; support VPN/VoIP.
  • Data Security & Compliance: Enforce security protocols, backups, and data protection.
  • Documentation & Asset Management: Maintain IT inventory, software licenses, incident logs; coordinate procurement.
  • Collaboration & Support: Assist HR/Operations for onboarding/offboarding; support virtual/on-site meetings; participate in IT projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–2 years IT support or system administration experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Office 365, Active Directory, VPNs, firewalls, antivirus tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • BPO/247 operations experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ticketing tools (JIRA, Freshservice, Zoho Desk).
  • Basic cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and helpdesk best practices.
