Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Telecom Tower Construction Manager to oversee the construction of telecom towers for BSNL. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and coordination to execution and project completion. This role requires expertise in telecom infrastructure, project management, site surveying, structural engineering, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

Oversee the entire lifecycle of telecom tower construction projects, including initial planning, site selection, procurement, design review, and construction.

Develop detailed project schedules and timelines, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure the project is progressing as per plan.

Budget & Cost Management:

Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met.

Forecast costs, handle cost tracking, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.

Ensure that all expenditures are tracked and documented for future audits and financial reviews.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the telecom industry standards, safety regulations, and local building codes.

Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance with design requirements.

Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to guarantee that all work meets the required standards.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

Lead and manage a team of engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.

Act as the primary point of contact between the client, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to project team members to ensure productivity and maintain a positive work environment.

Safety & Risk Management:

Oversee safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure safe work practices are followed on site.

Identify and mitigate construction risks by preparing and implementing risk management strategies.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, particularly for high-altitude construction work.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

Oversee procurement of materials, tools, and services necessary for the project.

Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and quality products.

Manage contracts, handle negotiations, and ensure that all parties meet their contractual obligations.

Stakeholder Communication:

Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, including potential delays, risks, and budget concerns.

Attend client meetings, deliver presentations, and provide project reports as required.

Maintain clear and open communication with both internal and external teams to resolve issues and ensure successful project outcomes.

Regulatory & Environmental Compliance:

Ensure the project complies with local regulatory requirements and environmental standards.

Manage the permitting process and ensure all necessary licenses and approvals are secured before starting construction.

Required Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management, particularly in the telecom or infrastructure sector.

Proven experience managing the construction of telecom towers (macro towers, small cell towers, fiber optic installations, etc.).

Strong understanding of telecom construction standards, safety regulations, and building codes.

Skills & Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, telecom equipment integration, and tower erection techniques.

Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a strong ability to motivate and direct a team.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Certifications (preferred but not required):

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.

OSHA certification or similar safety-related certifications.

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
