Hospitality Manager

The Hospital Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational functions of the hospital. This role ensures the efficient delivery of healthcare services, compliance with medical and safety regulations, and smooth coordination among clinical, nursing, and support departments to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:1. Administrative & Operational Management
- Supervise and coordinate all hospital departments including front office, billing, HR, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth daily operations and address any workflow issues promptly.
- Develop and implement hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and oversee staff schedules and performance.
2. Financial Management
- Prepare and manage hospital budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Monitor revenue cycles, billing accuracy, and collections.
- Authorize purchases and manage vendor relationships and procurement.
- Review financial reports and work with accounts to control expenses.
3. Patient Care & Service Quality
- Oversee patient admission, discharge, and feedback processes.
- Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction through effective service delivery.
- Resolve patient complaints and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor infection control, safety, and quality compliance.
4. Compliance & Accreditation
- Ensure hospital compliance with statutory and regulatory healthcare requirements.
- Maintain NABH / JCI / ISO accreditation standards (if applicable).
- Coordinate with medical, nursing, and quality teams to ensure adherence to protocols.
5. Strategic Planning & Development
- Assist in strategic decision-making and hospital growth initiatives.
- Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Implement digital and process automation initiatives for hospital systems.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, or Business Administration.
- 5–10 years of experience in hospital administration or healthcare operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws, accreditation processes, and hospital software (HMS).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Work Environment:
- Full-time, on-site position.
- May require occasional weekend or emergency availability.
