Position Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all resort events, including weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, social gatherings, themed resort activities, and VIP occasions. This role ensures that every event aligns with the resort's brand standards and delivers exceptional guest experiences from initial inquiry to final execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Event Planning & Coordination
- Plan and manage all details of events, including venue setup, décor, entertainment, timelines, and guest flow.
- Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Spa, Concierge, Security, Front Office, Sales) to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct pre-event meetings, site inspections, and walkthroughs with clients and stakeholders.
2. Client & Guest Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event lifecycle.
- Understand client needs and customize event packages accordingly (especially for weddings and large groups).
- Provide professional recommendations on menus, layouts, entertainment, and local experiences.
3. Operations & Execution
- Oversee event setup and breakdown; ensure all resort standards are met.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently during events.
- Supervise event staff, vendors, and contractors.
4. Sales & Revenue Management
- Work with the Sales & Marketing team to promote resort events and packages.
- Prepare event proposals, quotations, contracts, and budgets.
- Maximize revenue through upselling and efficient cost management.
5. Administrative Tasks
- Maintain event documentation, reports, and financial records.
- Prepare post-event evaluations and improvement plans.
- Manage event calendars and booking systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of event management experience, ideally in a resort or luxury hotel.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, client-handling, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in event management software, MS Office, and CRM systems.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
