About the Role:

We are seeking a J2EE Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications using the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java technologies, web applications, and backend integration, and should be capable of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and QA teams to implement complex enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using J2EE technologies.
  • Develop web applications, servlets, JSPs, and EJBs as per business requirements.
  • Implement backend logic, database interactions, and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, Struts, or similar Java frameworks.
  • Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP) and API integration.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React) is a plus.
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL queries.
  • Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming (OOP), and MVC architecture.
