Position : (Sr) J2EE Engineer
Experience : 3 to 7 yrs
Location : Chennai
Qualifications : BE / BTech / MTech / MS / MCA

Key responsibilities of this position holder would include :

  • Design, development, debugging of products Object oriented design.
  • Participates in full product development life cycle of small to medium complexity feature or functionality.
  • Works with multiple teams to solve customer issues and problem.
  • Production support for technical issues
  • Develop software modules as per the specifications
  • Performs analysis for the acquisition, installation, modification and support of operating systems, databases, utilities and internet-related tools
  • Implement code for diagnostics and performance monitoring
  • Providing technical guidance for other junior team members such as Software Engineers/ Trainees
  • Actively participate in the interviewing process for new hires
  • Need to work with members in India and/or US

Required Skills :

  • Thorough understanding of software architectures and development methodologies
  • Ability to work independently/in a team coupled with Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to proactively work with the QA team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Java based technologies specifically J2EE, JSF and web services.
  • Prior experience of working on app servers like Web Logic, JBOSS.
  • Prior experience of Oracle DB.

  • Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services applications/products
  • Prior experience in Oracle ADF
  • Experience in Rich Faces UI framework is preferred
