Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java/J2EE Developer to join our client's team through Acme Services. This role is crucial for overseeing the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and design to development, testing, and implementation. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, OOPS, and strong programming skills, along with proven leadership abilities to guide teams, ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards, and drive continuous process improvements. Key Responsibilities - Full SDLC Management: Oversee and execute all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, estimation, preparation of release plans, design, development, testing, and implementation of software systems. - Technical & Functional Specification: Ensure meticulous detailed requirement analysis is conducted to create comprehensive technical and functional specifications. - Team Leadership & Guidance: Guide the team through the design & development of desired product features, ensuring project timelines are strictly adhered to and high-quality standards are consistently maintained. - Documentation & Version Control: Ensure proper documentation is meticulously carried out throughout the product lifecycle. Maintain strict control of versions through effective configuration management. - Project Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct regular status review meetings and provide timely updates to product managers regarding project progress. - Process Improvement & Technical Resolution: Facilitate continuous process improvements within the team and provide expert guidance on the resolution of technical issues. - Knowledge Management: Ensure adherence to a knowledge base of best practices and that reusable components are maintained for future reference, fostering efficiency and consistency. Skills - Strong exposure in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL. - In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts. - Excellent programming skills. - Proficiency in requirement analysis, estimation, and release planning. - Strong capabilities in design, development, testing, and implementation of software systems. - Ability to create detailed technical and functional specifications. - Skills in guiding teams for design & development, adhering to timelines and quality standards. - Experience in documentation and configuration management. - Adept at conducting status review meetings and reporting progress. - Ability to facilitate continuous process improvements and resolve technical issues. - Knowledge of maintaining a knowledge base of best practices and reusable components. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Java/J2EE Developer with comprehensive SDLC involvement. - Demonstrable expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL. - Strong understanding of OOPS principles and programming best practices. - Experience in guiding development teams is highly desirable.
