The Opportunity

Our Head of Mechanical Design is stepping down due to personal medical reasons. We are now looking for a
skilled and visionary Mechanical Product Design Engineer
to lead next-gen product development.

In this role, you will:

Build India's next generation of premium smart lifestyle switchboards

Work closely with industrial designers, IoT & electronics teams

Prototype, test & refine real products used in real homes

Shape a national-level consumer product launch

Key Responsibilities


• Lead mechanical design of home automation & lifestyle products


• Create 3D models, assemblies & production-ready drawings


• Perform tolerance analysis, DFM & validation testing


• Collaborate across electronics, industrial design & production teams


• Work on metal-in-wood/wood-in-wood inlay detailing


• Coordinate with vendors for tooling, machining & finishing


• Ensure durability, manufacturability & aesthetic consistency

What We're Looking For

Education:
B.E / M.E – Mechanical or Mechatronics

Experience:
2 to 10+ years (Engineer / Senior Engineer)

Skills Required:

Strong in NX / SolidWorks / Creo / Fusion 360 / CATIA

Expertise in injection molding, die casting, CNC & sheet metal

Understanding of CMF, materials & finishes

Strong prototyping & problem-solving abilities

Experience in plastic tool design, 3D printing & die making

Passion for both engineering & design aesthetics
