Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in construction and basic civil engineering knowledge to lead and oversee the construction and installation activities for our upcoming Lite Structural Mill. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing mechanical works related to rolling mills, preferably structural mills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the mechanical construction activities for the Lite Structural Mill project.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of the construction schedule.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, mechanical layouts, and civil foundation plans.
• Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of mill equipment and related mechanical systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the project.
• Plan and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Provide technical support and resolve site-related mechanical and civil issues.
• Prepare progress reports and update management on project milestones.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Civil knowledge preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction and/or mechanical in-charge roles for industrial projects, ideally in rolling mills or structural mills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plant layout, and structural fabrication.
• Familiarity with civil foundation and erection activities.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
