Role Overview:
A Customer Success Engineer (CSE) provides the technical expertise to ensure customers successfully implement, adopt, and get value from a product or service. CSEs are responsible for technical onboarding, troubleshooting issues, suggesting best practices, and relaying customer feedback to internal product and engineering teams to drive product improvements and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary:
○ Technical Implementation: Assisting customers with product setup, configuration, and integrations.
○ Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues to ensure smooth product usage.
● Secondary:
○ Customer Education: Training customers on product features, best practices, and how to optimize their use of the product.
○ Proactive Engagement: Monitoring product usage to identify potential issues and proactively guide customers toward greater success.
○ Product Feedback & Advocacy: Acting as the voice of the customer, providing valuable feedback on product enhancements to internal teams.
● Stretch: Analyzing and comprehending code/queries in Go, Python or SQL to assist in resolving issues independently
Required Skills:
Must-Have:
Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
Problem-solving skills and customer service abilities.
Basic understanding of how web applications, command line tools and APIs work.
Expertise in using plugins/tools of various browsers, and API testing tools such as PostMan.
Eligibility / Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field is advantageous.
2 to 4 years of experience in the same or a comparable role.
