Overview The Oracle Fusion OTBI Reports Analyst is a critical role within the organization that focuses on the development and management of analytical reports utilizing Oracle Fusion's Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence (OTBI) tool. This position holds significant importance as it empowers various departments with data-driven insights that facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning. By extracting and presenting key metrics and performance indicators through well-structured reports, the OTBI Reports Analyst supports the overall goals of increasing operational efficiency and enhancing business outcomes. The individual in this role will work closely with various stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into functional reports that provide a comprehensive view of critical business data. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in Oracle tools, as well as creativity in report design and an analytical mindset to assess and interpret data accurately. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements.
  • Design and develop OTBI reports based on user specifications and data needs.
  • Optimize existing reports for better performance and user experience.
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability within the reporting framework.
  • Conduct user training sessions on how to access and utilize reports effectively.
  • Maintain documentation of report specifications and updates.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns that inform decision-making.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for report-related issues.
  • Conduct regular reviews of reports to ensure they meet evolving business requirements.
  • Implement best practices for report design and data visualization.
  • Work with IT to ensure data integration and system compatibility.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with Oracle Fusion updates and enhancements.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests from various departments.
  • Participate in project meetings to align reporting strategies with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Proficient in Oracle OTBI report tool, with a strong portfolio of developed reports.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience in developing dashboards and visual reports.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team-oriented with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Prior experience in a similar analytical role is preferred.
