Senior Electrical Site Engineer Site In-charge

(Salary (CTC): 35, ,000/month)

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Senior Electrical Site Engineers with proven expertise in Transmission and Distribution Systems, including cable laying, substation erection, and overhead/underground works across 11kV to 33kV voltage levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and oversee site execution activities related to 11kV, 33kV cable laying & substation electrical equipment erection and commissioning.
  • Supervise HV, and LV cable laying, jointing, termination, and testing.
  • Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Interact with government electrical departments/undertakings and client representatives on technical and progress matters.
  • Participate in and represent the project team in client progress review meetings.
  • Handle planning and coordination of materials, manpower, and tools required at the site.
  • Monitor and ensure the timely execution of work as per the schedule.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies, and deviations; escalate critical issues when required.
  • Guide and train site supervisors, electricians, and workers to ensure quality and speed of execution.
  • Review and verify RA bills and final bills of subcontractors.
  • Develop strategies to reduce execution cost without compromising on quality and safety.
  • Maintain daily/weekly reports, material logs, and checklists.
  • Use tools such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Word for reporting and drawing interpretation.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Distribution projects.
  • Must have worked on government electrical contracts or with public sector undertakings.
  • Hands-on experience in 33/11kV substations and cable projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and field execution.
  • Excellent problem-solving, team leadership, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Word.
  • Fluent in Hindi, English & Marathi as a bonus for documentation and client interaction.

Preferred Candidates:

  • Candidates currently residing in Mumbai or willing to relocate to Mumbai.
  • Candidates available to join immediately or within 15 days.
  • Previous experience working with utility companies or EPC contractors is a plus.
