Electrical Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking an exceptional electrical engineering professional to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer. This role will involve leading multidisciplinary projects, championing high-quality designs, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Project Leader for complex projects, ensuring technical and financial performance in collaboration with senior directors.
  • Develop and implement robust electrical engineering designs, including High Voltage and Extra Low Voltage systems.
  • Mentor and support the growth of junior engineers, fostering continuous professional development.
  • Conduct thorough technical/quality reviews of specifications, reports, and drawings to maintain excellence and compliance.
  • Prepare project delivery programmes and resource schedules, balancing requirements with team availability.
  • Support departmental performance analysis across technical, financial, commercial, and people aspects.
  • Promote integrated services to potential clients and represent the company at interviews and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, maximizing opportunities for repeat business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering and building services, with proven delivery of complex projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in High Voltage systems, resilient systems, and specialist Extra Low Voltage systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering with broad understanding of other building services and related design disciplines.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing large project teams.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with ability to lead presentations and manage stakeholder groups.
  • Strong commercial awareness, ensuring projects achieve success.
