Job Description:

Position Summary: As a Castrol Engine Oil Distributor Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of Castrol engine oil products to our clients. You will be responsible for safely transporting products to designated locations, adhering to delivery schedules, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Operations:
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Castrol engine oil products to various client locations.
  • Follow predetermined routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Verify orders and ensure accuracy in product types, quantities, and delivery locations.
  • Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle, including regular inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service during product delivery, including courteous interaction with clients and prompt resolution of inquiries or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details, address any delivery issues, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Castrol, promoting product features and benefits to clients and addressing any questions or concerns regarding the products.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
  • Ensure the safe handling and transportation of Castrol engine oil products, following proper loading and unloading procedures.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance activities.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics team members to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve logistical issues, and optimize delivery routes.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on delivery activities, client feedback, and any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably in the distribution or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
  • Knowledge of Castrol engine oil products (preferred but not required).
