As a key safety leader, you'll head up our team, supporting injured team members and guiding leaders through best practice recovery and injury management. You'll shape strategy, partner with our insurance broker, influence premiums, and build a strong, proactive safety culture.

Your Impact:

In this role, you'll lead and inspire a national team to deliver best practice recovery and injury management, ensuring our people feel supported every step of the way.

Your strategic advice and insights will shape safer workplaces, influence national insurance outcomes, and strengthen our commitment to wellbeing.

You'll bring to the table:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Safety and Health, with a strong track record in system and performance improvement
• Strong project coordination skills, with exceptional time management, prioritisation, and organisational abilities
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, key suppliers, and industry contacts
• Demonstrated discretion, confidentiality, and leadership with a genuine passion for safety and wellbeing
• Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a high-performance, high-pressure environment
• Innovative thinker who's not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to life
• A strong team player who values collaboration and believes in shared success
• Current QLD Working with Children Check
