About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to lead our Accounts function at CanKids KidsCan. The General Manager – Accounts will oversee financial accounting, donor reporting, treasury operations, and compliance, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and integrity in all financial processes. This role reports to the CFO and involves close coordination with donors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial accounting, donor reporting, and treasury management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including Income Tax, FCRA, and audit requirements.
  • Manage accounts receivable & payable, vendor payments, and donor conditions.
  • Build strong banking relationships and oversee treasury policies.
  • Mentor and support the finance team, ensuring robust internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.Com / MBA / CA Inter with 8–10 years' experience in finance & accounts (NGO/development sector preferred).
  • Must have
    Minimum 3–5 years in the NGO/development sector
    (finance & accounts)
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9, MS Excel, and financial regulations.
  • Expertise in statutory compliance, donor management, and audit readiness.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
