Position Overview:
We're looking for a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist to take a lead role in shaping the future of hiring in APAC. This isn't just another recruiting role, it's a high-impact, senior position where you'll drive the strategy and execution behind our most complex and business-critical hires.
As the go-to talent expert in the region, you'll partner directly with senior leaders, design creative and data-driven recruitment strategies, and ensure we continue to scale with the very best talent in the market. This role is perfect for someone who loves solving tough hiring challenges, thrives in fast-paced environments, and knows how to balance hands-on execution with strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Senior TA partner to leaders in APAC, aligning hiring priorities with business goals.
- Proactively consult with stakeholders on workforce planning, headcount prioritization, and hiring strategies.
- Serve as the "go-to" TA expert for India, providing market insights and advising on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive positioning.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and niche technical and commercial roles, including Principal Engineer, Product, and GTM positions.
- Drive innovative sourcing strategies, leveraging market mapping, referrals, social recruiting, talent communities, and non-traditional channels.
- Ensure hiring managers experience a high-touch, proactive, and solutions-oriented partnership.
- Set the standard for candidate experience by running a transparent, engaging, and respectful process.
- Build and maintain deep knowledge of the APAC talent landscape, delivering insights to inform leadership decisions.
- Present data on pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and time-to-hire, with recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a mentor and role model to other recruiters in the region, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, stakeholder management, and reporting.
- Represent TA India in global forums, ensuring regional perspectives are heard and acted upon;
- Elevate the TA brand by driving thought leadership internally (e.g., sharing best practices, contributing to employer branding, leading workshops).
Required Experience/Skills
- 8–10+ years of progressive recruitment experience, with strong exposure to India's tech market.
- Proven success hiring senior-level and niche roles in a competitive environment.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing at leadership level.
- Deep sourcing expertise across multiple channels, with evidence of delivering hard-to-find talent.
- Strong data and reporting skills: able to translate metrics into insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
- Passion for candidate experience and building strong employer brand presence.
