Job Title: Business Development Officer – Software Sales
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end field sales of our company's software solutions, including GST Software, XBRL Filing Software, and other related products. This is a field sales role that will require frequent travel to meet clients in person. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to generate business opportunities while engaging with clients face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end field sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Identify and target potential clients for software solutions within assigned territories.
- Travel extensively for field sales, meeting prospective and existing clients in person to present and demonstrate software solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations, showcasing the features, functionality, and benefits of our software tailored to client needs.
- Engage with clients to explain the technical aspects of our products, ensuring they understand how the solutions can resolve their specific business challenges.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product implementation and support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in software or IT-related products.
- Experience in conducting product demonstrations and addressing client queries in a field sales context.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex software in a clear and relatable manner.
- Proficiency in the local language is a must.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field sales.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Basic understanding of GST, XBRL, and business software will be an added advantage.
