Country Lead — CLS India / Executive Board (CLS Canada)

Direct Reports:
17 Regional Partnership Managers (170 territories)

Position Summary

The National Director — Wellness & Partnerships will lead the national ecosystem for emotional support, clinical partnerships, academic pipelines, and wellness alliances.

You will oversee a 17-region structure, with each regional manager supporting 10 CLS license territories nationwide.

·       You are responsible for building and leading:

·       Family therapy & counselling practice partnerships

·       University / psychology department alliances

·       Corporate wellness & EAP-style partnerships

·       Volunteer supervision, escalation, and wellness resources

·       National field-leadership and partnership SOPs

·       This is a mission-first, nation-building leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

National Ecosystem Leadership

·       Lead, mentor, and manage 17 regional managers

·       Build & scale partnership systems across 170 territories

·       Establish escalation, supervision, and support structures for emotional-support program delivery

Therapy & Clinical Partnerships

·       Partner with family therapists, counselling practices, and clinical supervisors

·       Develop referral pathways, supervision access, and escalation protocols

·       Create collaborative models for community & family mental-health support

Academic & Training Pipeline

·       Build strategic MoUs with universities & psychology departments

·       Create internship, practicum, and applied training pathways

·       Lead national student recruitment, onboarding & coordination

EAP & Corporate Wellness Partnerships

·       Develop EAP-style relationships with HR, CSR, and wellness teams

·       Build emotional-support access programs for corporate partners

·       Expand national wellness network aligned with CLS mission & ethics

Governance, Strategy & Culture

·       Deliver quarterly goals & development frameworks

·       Build SOPs, reporting systems, and partnership dashboards

·       Uphold CLS culture: empathy, dignity, confidentiality, human-first

Desired Background

7–15 years leadership in psychology, wellness, EAP, CSR-mental health, or academic partnerships

Experience managing regional/field teams at national level

Strong network in family therapy / counselling / psychology academia

Experience building community or wellness ecosystems

Mission-driven, emotionally intelligent, grounded leader

Psychology / counselling education is preferred but not mandatory if backed by strong wellness partnership & ecosystem experience.
