iOrders is a leading online ordering and customer engagement platform for restaurants across Canada and the United States, currently serving nearly 1,000 restaurant partners. We provide a white-glove, end-to-end technology solution including website ordering, branded mobile apps, customer engagement tools, CRM, and delivery integrations.
We are expanding our customer success team in India to support our growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Success Associate – Onboarding Specialist to help new restaurants successfully launch their online ordering systems.
This role begins after the sales team closes a deal. You will work directly with the restaurant owners/managers, the sales team, and our internal support/design teams to ensure smooth onboarding and timely store activation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding New Restaurants
- Collect menus, images, prices, business hours, and other onboarding details.
- Coordinate website and menu setup with internal design & development teams.
- Review menus for accuracy and ensure they follow iOrders formatting standards.
- Gather domain/DNS details and work with the technical team to update hosting or linking if needed.
2. Store Activation & Verification
- Ensure the restaurant's online ordering system is fully configured and tested.
- Verify payment onboarding with the client.
- Confirm the menu, categories, taxes, delivery zones, and pricing are correct before going live.
- Perform test orders and ensure order notifications are functioning.
3. Client Communication
- Be the main contact for new clients during onboarding.
- Provide clear instructions to clients on required documents and credentials.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely completion of pending items.
- Keep internal teams updated on onboarding progress through various communication channels.
4. Post-Launch Support
- Ensure the store is live and visible on website/app.
- Verify Google Business ordering is connected (where applicable).
- Hand over the client to the Support Team once onboarding is complete.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams
- Comfortable communicating with business owners
- Basic understanding of websites, domains, menus, and online ordering systems
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects at once
- Good with tools like Google Sheets, CRM, ticketing systems, Zoom, WhatsApp
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in SaaS onboarding
- Experience working with restaurants or POS systems
- Familiarity with DNS/Domain settings.
- Knowledge of basic design concepts (menu images, resizing, etc.)
Work Schedule
- Remote (India)
- Should be available during overlap with Canadian time zones
- Full-time role
