• Responsible for QC Section and take care of timely and quality production in all sections of Factory.
• In-process inspection of Gear Shop.
• Final Gear box testing and inspection.
• Fan static balancing and drive shaft dynamic balancing.
• Ensure proper chemical treatment of wood.
• Ensure fitment of fabricated items (Headers, Motor, fan, driveshaft, Gear weldment & motor weldment).
• In-process Inspection Final Inspection of FRP Panels after manufacturing.
• Monitor power factor and power bills on a monthly basis and develop methods/arrange devices/equipment/accessories/solutions to lower existing high power bills; look after maintenance of all machines, equipment, D.G sets, Electric Panels, and other utilities.
• Attend and solve fitment/Quality products issues faced by our erection staff at sites; conduct training of erectors at the factory related to fitment and alignment problems of equipment at site.
• Create and maintain all updated documents, registers, etc. related to Q.C.
• Prepare QAP for all in-house and bought-out products and keep records of the same.
• Collect all the TCs of incoming material & keep in safe custody.
• Inspect materials during production and prepare reports as per QAP.
• Prepare reports of finished products as per QAP of client.
• Review TC of incoming Raw material & point out any discrepancies found to Management Executive, Works Manager & Purchase officer/Stores officer.
• Responsible for preparation of QA & QC procedure and documents as per client/project specifications.
• Carry out all stage-wise inspections from raw material to final delivery of material like erected C/T inspection, welding quality, final dimensions, painting & finishing of Cooling Towers, visual colors match of FRP panels & all components.
• Prepare QAP/ITP as per project requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports and coordinate with TPI/ Client representative.
• Responsible for maintaining standard quality for the products to meet company as well as clients requirements.
• Conduct tests required for solving any technical problem that may arise during production.
• Oversee all activities for incoming material and in-process quality control.
• Perform root cause analysis for any complaints that may come from clients.
• Gain knowledge of testing procedures for our products at the earliest.
• Monitor the quality of all products being manufactured by Paltech and those bought from various vendors including MS fabrication items, FRP Panels, Fan Blades, FRP Sheets, Wooden and Plywood components fabrication, Gear Boxes, Drive Shafts manufacturing, etc.
• Coordinate with lab Engineer to get products tested for improved quality, procedure, and documentation.
• Review TC of Raw material.
• Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements.
• Audit our systems based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements.
• Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions (e.g., number of defective raw materials per order); review current blueprints and quality documentation.
• Develop inspection methods to analyze product quality.
• Improve product quality by making recommendations for change.
• Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate reliability, precision, and accuracy of processes, products, and production equipment.
• Ensure process control documents adhere to set requirements.
• Assist in the disposition process by involving in failure analysis and suggesting corrective actions.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of our Product/Processes/Lab in our Factory with inspection agencies/3rd party agencies/Inspection from Clients.
• Perform quality inspection of technical components, acceptance tests, and performance tests.
