Role : Field Quality Engineer

Position Summary

Responsible adherence to construction quality standards via thorough monitoring, documentation, and inspections, alongside the preparation of QA/QC plans

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring of construction quality to ensure that all work is installed in accordance with the plans, specifications, QA/QC requirements, code requirements, contract requirements, statutory and regulatory requirements and good construction practices.
  • Create, process, complete and maintain accurate documentation and records associated with the construction site including non-conformity reports, job books, request for information, submittals and drawings
  • Preparation of the Project Quality Plans and Project Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO Standards.
  • Review the Engineering drawings in terms of the Stand practices/ Specifications and standards
  • Conduct inspections and Quality audits to find and eliminate deviations in processes and practices
  • Setup a system for QHSE governance and conduct periodic reviews with all sites.
  • To provide the actual status of progress of work vs the RFI completed for the progress on a weekly basis.
  • Identify preventative actions for continual improvement.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Overall Responsible for meeting the customer satisfaction by implementing QMS by monitoring the site activities to avoid non-conformances regarding quality and ensures the compliance of all procedures and systems related to quality at all sites.
  • Resolution of quality related problems at site with concurrence of client, if any.
  • Impart training for staff and I & C Partners workmen.
  • Installation verification at sites for smooth commissioning.

Experience

  • Has handled the Multi project in quality aspect.
  • Willing to travel to solar project sites.
  • Good Knowledge of Measuring Instruments usage.
  • Have Practical knowledge of Solar installation procedures.
  • Knowledge in Electrical equipments and codes.
  • Good communication skills and Knowledge of MS office.
  • Knowledge in Civil foundation and codes.

Education Qualification / Additional Certifications

  • B.E/Diploma Electrical with 4 -10 years experience to independently drive and maintain the High Quality at solar projects.

Skills /Competencies

  • Awareness of the industry standards and regulatory requirements in the solar sector.
  • Ability to identify and address quality issues by employing systematic problem-solving techniques
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers

Cost Optimization

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
