The Capital Markets Research & Design Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Capital Markets team by researching US market data and developing clear and compelling investor presentations. This role involves gathering key real estate market insights, economic indicators, and geographic data to highlight the strategic advantages of multifamily and industrial real estate investments. 

This role requires solid research expertise, and the ability to translate data into visually engaging materials. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with market research tools, GIS mapping software, and design applications to create data-driven, investor-focused presentations for real estate projects in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and compile key economic, demographic, and geographic data relevant to pre-defined real estate investment criteria.
  • Research and document landmarks, transportation infrastructure, business hubs, and market trends to ensure investor presentations accurately reflect a site's strategic advantages.
  • Identify and organize data on accessibility factors such as major highways, ports, airports, public transportation, and proximity to key employment centers.
  • Collect and format lease and sales comparable, competitive supply data, and development pipeline details, ensuring all information aligns with established investment parameters.
  • Maintain and update a structured repository of market research reports, maps, aerial imagery, and investor presentation materials for efficient access and use by the Capital Markets team.
  • Maintain a well-structured digital library of research materials, maps, aerial imagery, and market reports for easy team access.
  • Ensure all presentation assets are accurately labeled, categorized, and stored, allowing for seamless updates and retrieval.
  • Regularly update geographic and market data to ensure investor materials reflect the most current trends and insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Geography, Business, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field. Candidates with a combination of real estate research, content creation and visual design experience will be strongly considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate market research, investment presentations, content creation.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize real estate market data.
  • Experience working with aerial imagery, GIS mapping tools, or site plans in a real estate, architecture, or investment setting is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of multifamily and industrial real estate trends, including site selection factors, lease comparable, and investment criteria.
  • Ability to translate complex data into visually compelling and easy-to-understand investor materials.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience maintaining structured digital libraries and asset management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate effectively with U.S. based teams.
  • Experience working with U.S. based real estate firms, investors, or projects is highly preferred.
  • Time management & adaptability – capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
