Position: Business Development Manager Sales
Level: Manager (L6)
Reports To: Head of Sales/ Director - Business Development
Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our BPO sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling outsourcing services, generating leads, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base and growing our presence in the domestic and/or international BPO markets.
Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for BPO services (voice/non-voice, inbound/outbound, back-office, etc.)
- Generate qualified leads through cold calls, networking, referrals, online research, and digital campaigns.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with revenue goals and market trends.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations (virtual or in-person) to pitch services and understand needs.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle.
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and track all sales activities using CRM tools.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on BPO industry trends, competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and regulatory developments.
- Identify new markets, industry verticals, and geographies for expansion.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales/business development in a BPO or outsourcing environment.
- Strong understanding of BPO services and sales cycles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and online lead generation platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
