Job Description: Ecommerce Manager
Position Overview:
We seek an experienced and driven Ecommerce Manager to lead and optimize our marketplace operations. The ideal candidate will have 7–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the cosmetics industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and managing high-performing teams. This role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and hands-on expertise in marketplace management to achieve ambitious revenue and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Strategy & Management:
Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, increase visibility, and enhance the brand's presence across online marketplaces (e.g., Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.).
Identify emerging marketplace trends and incorporate them into the strategy to maintain competitiveness.
Revenue Optimization:
Manage P&L for marketplaces, ensuring sales targets and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
Implement promotional strategies and campaigns to boost sales while maintaining profitability.
Inventory & Pricing Management:
Oversee inventory planning and allocation to ensure product availability without overstocking.
Optimize pricing and discounting strategies based on market dynamics and competitor analysis.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, and logistics) to ensure seamless operations and brand alignment.
Build strong relationships with marketplace account managers to negotiate favorable terms and explore new opportunities.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze sales, traffic, and conversion data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular performance reports and share actionable insights with senior management.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and manage a team of marketplace executives, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: 7–8 years of experience in marketplace management, with a strong preference for candidates with cosmetics industry expertise.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Skills:
In-depth understanding of marketplace algorithms, tools, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in marketplace tools and platforms, along with Microsoft Excel and analytics software.
Job Location:- Goregoan, Mumbai.
Work timings:- 9.30am to 6.30pm
Working Days:- Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday Off)
