Position: Manager – Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations; review and file GST returns accurately and on time.
  • Handle all direct and indirect taxation matters, including income tax, TDS, and tax assessments.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closings, including bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, vendors, and government authorities for statutory audits and compliance.
  • Monitor cash flows, predict future trends, and manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems and SOPs to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Guide and train staff on GST, taxation, and accounting procedures.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Professional Tax, etc.) and filing of returns.
  • Handle GST department notices, assessments, and audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
  • Provide financial insights and support to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated with latest changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in accounts and finance, with hands-on experience in GST and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, ERP systems) and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, direct and indirect taxes, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
