We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our Accounts department. The role involves ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial and operational activities while supporting continuous process improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounting functions of eLogic Solutions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting statutory compliance. The role includes acting as the key intermediary between management and the company's Chartered Accountant for smooth and timely year-end closure, audits, and financial statement finalization.

1. Core Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain Tally ERP 9 database and perform daily accounting entries for sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Manage and reconcile debtors and creditors ledgers.
• Analyze accounting records, including accounts receivable, invoice processing, cash book, and general ledger.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports in Excel as per management requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

2. Tax Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Stay updated on current tax regulations applicable to the professional services industry.
• Coordinate with internal finance staff and external CA firm for accurate and timely tax filing and reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Assist in finalizing Balance Sheet, P&L, and year-end closing.

3. Billing, Receivables & Documentation

• Prepare and verify invoices, billing schedules, and supporting documentation as per project progress.
• Coordinate with Project team, Procurement, and Client Teams for billing approvals and clarifications.
• Track Accounts Receivable and follow up for timely collections.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical records of invoices, payments, and tax documents.
• Prepare periodic aging reports and coordinate with clients and management for collections.

4. Coordination with Chartered Accountant & Management

• Act as a single point of contact between the CEO and Chartered Accountant for all accounting and compliance matters.
• Compile, verify, and provide data required for year-end audits and financial finalization.
• Assist in the preparation of management dashboards, financial summaries, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy and timeliness in all reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).

Technical Proficiency:

• Expert-level command over Tally ERP 9 and hands-on experience in accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Core Knowledge & Experience:

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Experience in service-based or professional export oriented firms preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive approach toward compliance and reporting.
