Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diesel engines and generator sets.
Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to test engine performance and ensure efficient and safe equipment operation.
Implement repair and maintenance plans according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Provide technical support and on-site guidance to assist customers in resolving equipment issues.
Collaborate with project teams and other departments to ensure timely project completion.
Prepare maintenance reports, maintain service logs, and ensure all work documentation is complete.
Participate in the training of new employees and enhance the overall technical capabilities of the team.
Requirements
Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience maintaining diesel engines, generator sets, or heavy machinery; experience in the maritime or power generation industry is preferred.
Familiarity with engine structure, control systems, fuel injection systems, and turbocharger operating principles.
Ability to independently use diagnostic tools to perform fault analysis and repairs.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to handle emergency repair situations.
Relevant industry certifications or training certificates (e.g., ASE, mechanical equipment maintenance, etc.) are preferred.
Fluent English and basic Arabic are preferred.
