Campaign Manager

Role-
Responsible for the successful delivery of advertising campaigns across a set of defined vertical markets. Key focus for the role is management of digital ad campaigns, be primary contact for internal and external clients, preflight assets and collaborate for ad campaigns success. Products supported range from web advertising, digital newsletter, audience extension advertising, native and rich media, as well as support of larger marketing services programs and initiatives.
• Primary ownership for communications with end client concerning advertising as part of marketing services.
- Primary ownership for communications with internal clients for advertising campaigns as part of marketing services delivery.
- Collect digital ad materials and collaborate with Ad Traffickers for campaign delivery and fulfillment
• Analyze campaign performance and suggest optimizations - Knowledgeable about marketing objectives and interface directly with clients to help maximize campaign performance
• Enhanced focus on quality assurance over web, app and newsletter advertising - Review, approve and ensure ad orders adhere to creative, technical, legal specifications
• Attend meetings and present to vertical brand group stakeholders (sales calls, planning calls, reporting)
• Manage, monitor, and communicate ad progress to internal or external clients, including but not limited to reporting & inquiries. Communicate and reinforce digital ad procedures and policies - Escalating campaign and brand-level issues to ASG leaders.
- Partner with groups for monetization efforts
• Ability to provide troubleshooting support to managers, ad traffickers, and marketing partners
- Work with market-specific stakeholders (sales, editorial, management) to service clients
• Work with Informa Engage (creative, campaign marketing, research) to deliver advertising campaigns & marketing services offerings to clients. - Support strategic initiatives and project deliverables
- Train and mentor peers, promote best practices
- Unique role in that this position can flex between Campaign Mananger job responsibilitities and Ad Trafficker responsibilities as business needs dictate.
• This position manages freelance employees as required, typically 1-2.

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience or education in marketing, journalism, business, digital media, or related field
- Microsoft Excel skills required
- Preferred experience with ad ops, ad server, Google Ad Manager 360, Ad Words, or Fattail
- Experience with Third Party rich media providers a plus
- Effectively translate complicated concepts into simple, understandable communications
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including presentation, organization and negotiation skills, interpersonal skills
