Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Shrimp-Sourcing Specialist. The Shrimp-Sourcing Specialist will handle the sourcing and procurement of high-quality shrimp, foster and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards. Responsibilities also include monitoring supplier performance, analyzing sourcing data to optimize operations, and collaborating with internal teams to align sourcing activities with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess supplier performance and evaluate sourcing data effectively.
  • Excellent Communication skills to build and maintain supplier relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Proven experience in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Procurement expertise for acquiring quality shrimp while achieving cost efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Recruiting experience is beneficial for identifying and partnering with new suppliers.
  • Knowledge of seafood industry standards and sustainability certifications like MSC and BAP is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while ensuring attention to detail and quality.
