Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sourcing Specialist, based in Hyderabad. The Sourcing Specialist will handle day-to-day responsibilities including managing procurement processes, identifying and collaborating with suppliers, and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness. The role involves analyzing market trends, sourcing strategies, and contributing to recruitment activities by identifying and evaluating potential candidates to support organizational growth. Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Identification & Evaluation

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers across product categories.

Evaluate supplier capabilities, certifications, pricing structures, and compliance with company standards.

1. Purchase Request & Approval Management

Process, submit, and review purchase requisitions.

Ensure all requests are correctly documented, approved, and budget-aligned before proceeding.

1. RFQs, RFPs & Competitive Bidding

Draft, prepare, and issue RFQs/RFPs to prospective vendors.

Manage competitive bidding cycles and collect quotations.

Perform detailed comparative analysis of vendor quotes.

1. Negotiation & Contracting

Negotiate pricing, terms, payment structures, and service agreements.

Structure and finalize contracts ensuring compliance and optimal commercial value.

1. Contract & Order Management

Administer and monitor supplier contracts for performance, delivery, and adherence to terms.

Create and manage purchase orders.

Track delivery timelines, shipment status, and follow up on discrepancies.

Coordinate inventory availability to meet operational and project requirements.

1. Supplier Relationship Management

Maintain strong and professional relationships with suppliers.

Measure supplier performance, reliability, compliance, and partnership quality using internal metrics.

Drive continuous improvement in supplier service levels.

1. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare comparative statements and detailed procurement reports.

Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audits and evaluations.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

Hands-on experience working with SAP.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Basic understanding of CRM systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.
