
Service Coordinator

- Service Coordination
- Receive service requests and schedule engineers/technicians as per priority.
- Plan and monitor day-to-day service operations including mobilization, logistics, and documentation.
- Maintain service records, work orders, and reports.
- Customer Communication
- Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding service jobs.
- Provide job updates, timelines, and resolutions to customer queries.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
- Team Support & Coordination
- Assign tasks to service engineers and monitor their progress.
- Ensure technicians are provided with necessary tools, materials, and documents before deployment.
- Support field teams with troubleshooting or coordination with OEMs/vendors.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare service reports, attendance sheets, and closing documents for each job.
- Track open jobs, pending materials, and follow-up for timely closure.
- Maintain a database of service history and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Logistics & Compliance
- Arrange port passes, visas, travel bookings, and accommodations for service teams.
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and materials required for jobs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and port regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2–5 years in service coordination, preferably in marine/offshore/electrical systems.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
- Excellent communication and customer handling.
- Knowledge of service reporting, documentation, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Basic technical understanding of electrical/mechanical systems.
- Ability to work under pressure with time-bound schedules.
