Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Bhopal (formerly known as AISECT University) was established in 2010 as Madhya Pradesh's first private university. Applications are invited for the following positions

1. Role – Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor – Faculty of Commerce

The position will be responsible for academic delivery, research, and professional development within the Faculty of Commerce, ensuring excellence in teaching, innovation, and institutional contribution.

3. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

A. Generic KRAs (Academic & Institutional Responsibilities)

• Deliver lectures and tutorials using innovative and interactive pedagogical methods.
• Incorporate blended learning tools and technology-enabled instruction.
• Provide academic and career counseling to students.
• Design and administer fair, transparent, and outcome-based evaluation systems.
• Participate in departmental activities, accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA), and academic committees.
• Contribute to institutional development, outreach, and community initiatives.
• Engage in continuous learning through FDPs, workshops, and conferences.

B. Core / Technical KRAs (Subject & Research Specific)

• Teach subjects such as Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Law, Taxation, Auditing, and Economics.
• Contribute to curriculum design aligned with NEP 2020 and industry expectations.
• Conduct research and publish in UGC CARE / Scopus indexed journals.
• Mentor students in research projects and industry-linked studies.
• Develop case studies, simulations, and technology-based learning resources.
• Foster linkages with industry professionals for internships, lectures, and placements.
• Support academic audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

4. Qualification and Experience

Preferably Qualification:

• Ph.D. (Awarded/Pursuing) in Commerce from a recognized University as per UGC Regulations + Masters in commerce with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade + Graduate degree with a strong academic record.
• Compliance with UGC/AICTE norms including NET/SET/SLET qualification where applicable.

Desirable:

• Strong research record with publications in UGC CARE / Scopus journals.
• Teaching or relevant industry experience from 2 Years to 10 Years +
• Active participation in professional bodies, seminars, and academic forums.
