The Business Head – Solar is responsible for leading the overall strategy, growth, and operations of the solar power business. The role involves driving business development, overseeing project execution, managing P&L, and ensuring long-term sustainability of the solar portfolio. The position requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, and the ability to build partnerships across government, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's solar business strategy (rooftop, utility-scale, EPC, or distribution).
  • Lead business development, sales pipelines, and key account relationships.
  • Manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
  • Identify new market opportunities, technologies, and partnerships.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and ensure effective resource management.
  • Represent the company with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 14–18 years of experience in the end to end solar project closure.
  • Strong exposure in business branding, business promotions, sales increase, project costing and technical installation.
  • Strong understanding of EPC, project development, and government policies.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60, ₹75,000.00 per month
