Position Summary
The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering and continuously improving HR processes across the full employee lifecycle. This role partners with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and business leaders globally to ensure operational excellence, data integrity, and compliance with local regulations. In addition to owning core HR processes, this role leverages data and reporting (with profeciency in Excel) to streamline workflows, and support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and administer employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, internal mobility, transfers, and separations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with managers, HRBPs, and Payroll to coordinate organizational changes (department moves, manager changes, job title updates).
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity in HRIS and ATS systems through regular audits and compliance checks.
  • Manage requisition workflows, approval processes, and onboarding requirements for new hires globally (employees, contractors, interns).
  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc HR reporting, using Excel and HRIS data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support audit readiness and respond to compliance reviews by ensuring HR data and documentation adhere to regional regulations and company standards.
  • Partner with HR leadership to document, streamline, and enhance global HR policies, SOPs, and communications, ensuring they reflect company culture.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to improve candidate and hiring manager experience across recruiting, onboarding, and integration touchpoints.
  • Actively identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency in HR processes across geographies.
  • Demonstrated experience in India-specific HR compliance activities, including statutory filings, audit ownership, vendor coordination and integration of compliance into onboarding and HR operations workflows.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or Recruiting Operations, preferably in a global or matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems (HRIS/ATS), data workflows, and compliance requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Comfort in using Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, data validation, and formula creation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proactive problem-solver who works independently while building strong cross-functional relationships.
