Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Executive to oversee daily operations in our chasma (eyewear) production unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining operational efficiency to meet customer demand and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage daily production of spectacle frames, lenses, and assembly according to targets and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in frame cutting, polishing, lens fitting, coating, and final inspection.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and optical accuracy as per company and industry requirements.
  • Monitor the availability of raw materials (e.g., acetate, TR90, metals, lenses, hinges) and raise requests as needed.
  • Maintain machine efficiency and hygiene, and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Keep accurate production records including output, rework, rejection rates, and downtime.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and quality teams to streamline production processes.
  • Implement and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing practices on the shop floor.
  • Train production staff on SOPs, safety standards, and equipment handling.
  • Coordinate with the packaging and dispatch teams for timely shipment of finished goods.
