Telemarketing Specialist Job Description
Job Summary
The Telemarketing Specialist is primarily responsible for communicating with potential or existing clients via telephone to promote company products or services, generate sales opportunities, and maintain customer relationships. This position requires excellent communication skills, sales techniques, and customer service awareness, and the ability to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced work environment.
Main Responsibilities
Introduce company products or services to clients through outbound calls to drive sales.
Answer inquiries from potential clients, address their questions, and provide product information.
Maintain and update customer information, ensuring data accuracy.
Follow up on sales leads and drive potential clients to become paying customers.
Achieve daily and monthly call volume and sales targets as required by the company.
Handle customer objections and provide effective solutions.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize telephone sales scripts and processes.
Record customer feedback and assist in improving services and products.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or above, with preference given to candidates majoring in marketing, business, communications, or related fields.
Experience in telephone sales or customer service is preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasive skills, resilience under pressure, and a goal-oriented mindset.
Proficient in using office software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Proactively learn product knowledge and sales techniques.
Working Conditions
Work location can be in the company office or remotely (depending on company arrangements).
Normal working hours; evening or weekend shifts may be required if necessary.
Base salary and performance-based commission provided; additional bonuses for outstanding performance.
